lol, hello!

I don't think I've got one of the gerbil at the moment, but, the cat...

The only ones I can find atm are of him from about a two years ago (he's only 4, so...)

He looks a lot meaner and a lot broader now. He's grown up :)

I have pics on my phone, but am currently stuck at work :(

But yes, JD is called JD because we used to have two gerbils, a white one and a black one and we called them JD and Turk, like the Scrubs characters. Hee. However, JD turned one night and ate Turk :( There was sadness.

And Elladan is called Elladan ('Dan for short) after Elladan Peredhil, son of Elrond in Lord of the Rings. I has a small dispute between me and friend who insisted I couldn't name my cat after half a pair of twins. But I think I can. Besides, I have a friend who's the Elrohir to my Elladan and naming the cat Elladan seemed fitting. Also, heis, with his brother, one of the most fierce Orc hunters in Middle Earth. Which mum wanted a cat to catch mice, so it seemed fitting as well.

Plus, he's totes got the arrogance of an elf! :D

So yes, there we go! Have you got any pets??

Those pictures are adorable; I love the first and last so much! I was wondering if JD might be named after that JD; it makes me sad that he ate Turk. I never watched Scrubs regularly, but I quite liked Turk. D: I'm the latest person to Lord of the Rings ever, but I finally have a set to start reading after I finish what I'm currently reading. The name sounds perfect already from your description though! :)

Currently, I don't have any, because my apartment doesn't allow it and the building that does costs $50 more per month (plus a deposit to keep the pet). It's my least favorite part of my current living situation.

I sort-of had a family of cats because they always wandered into the backyard even though they technically lived next door. Their actual owner was barely home, so she asked me to come over and offer them company once in a while when she saw that they liked me.

I had a miniature pinscher for about five years, that I named Gingersnap because I was young and part of her fur reminded me of ginger. A vet decided she was actually abandoned by someone in our neighborhood because she'd ended up in our backyard about half of her proper weight with numerous other problems yet there were never any missing posters describing her or anything. So we ended up taking care of her. She passed in 2004. :/

Um, I also had fish when I was five, and I've also had six birds - four parakeets and two cockatiels.

Ty, he's pretty sweet when he's not bringing death.

Dan's at home at the moment with mum, because she'd just moved into a new house and I went to uni, and now there's more land for him to roam there so he mostly lives there :( But I'm not really allowed pets either I'm just terrible at following rules, I don't think I'm allowed candles either, ah well!!

Aw, I love random!wandering-in!pets. They always need the love!

What's a pinscher??

I had 4/5 fish, a mussel, two sea snails, a cocktiel and a rabbit. I loved Lola, the cockatiel, but she bit everyone and then flew away :(:(

Haha! I keep playing with the idea of sneaking a cat into my apartment, but how I'd cover myself when the staff comes in once a month to spray always catches me. I live barely a block from an animal shelter though, so I go volunteer and consider all of those my pets. That's probably more useful and less likely to get me in trouble anyway.

Here's a page with more info than I give off the top of my head. :) I actually thought she was a small Doberman until we took her to a vet since they look rather similar except for key differences that I then didn't know to look for.
